Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ROOMNOW INFOTECH (“we”, “us”, or “our”), which operates the RoomNow.in platform (the “Platform”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website and services. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and role (tenant or property owner).
  • Verification / KYC information: identity and property documents you upload for verification.
  • Listing information: property details, photos, address, and pricing submitted by property owners.
  • Transaction information: subscription plan, payment status, and transaction identifiers processed by our payment gateway.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, searches, saved and unlocked properties, device and log information.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and provide the Platform’s features.
  • To process subscriptions and contact-unlock transactions.
  • To verify users, listings, and KYC documents and to prevent fraud.
  • To communicate service updates, plan expiry notices, and support responses.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Payment information

Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway (Razorpay). We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank credentials on our servers. Payment processing is subject to the payment gateway’s own privacy policy and security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).

4. Sharing of information

When a tenant unlocks a property, relevant contact details of the property owner are shared with that tenant (and vice versa) to facilitate the rental enquiry. We may also share information with service providers (payment gateway, hosting, communication tools) and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

6. Your rights

You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
